Welcome to my blog! I am a 29 year old male who has NEVER voted before in my life. When I first heard about Obama I was intrigued. As I began to learn more about him, there was no doubt in my mind that he was a once-in-a-generation leader. This inspired me to get involved in the political process. As I began to get involved, I realized that making phone calls and going door-to-door was interesting, but I couldn't reach nearly as many as I wanted to by typically recruiting measures.
Then I thought to myself - there IS one skill I have that might be useful. I know a LOT about social media. What if I created a blog that was all about using social media to spread the word about Barack? I mean leveraging social networking, bookmarking, SEO, commenting, etc., etc. to reach THOUSANDS of people - many more people that I could reach by simply phone calling on a random Tuesday evening.
So that's what this blog is. A place where I will be putting (hopefully daily) tasks on how Obama supporters can spread the word through social media. Please check back regularly as my #1 goal is to show you how YOU can spread the word about the truly GREAT leader online. Enjoy!
